AI Use Policy

How AI is used in Games Done Correctly

AI is used as a development tool, not as a replacement for building the game.

AI Use Policy for Games Done Correctly

This page explains how AI is used during development. The goal is simple: be transparent about it.

1. How I Use AI

AI is used primarily as a coding tool. This includes:

  • debugging
  • problem-solving
  • understanding errors
  • speeding up development workflow

All final decisions, systems, and design direction are handled by me. AI functions as a tool, not a creator of the game itself.

2. AI Art

AI-generated art may be used as placeholder content during development and may appear in early releases.

This is a practical decision, not a creative one. The intent is to replace this art with original, non-AI assets once the project generates enough revenue to hire artists.

In short: if AI art is present, it is temporary and tied to development or financial limitations—not the final vision of the project.

3. What I Do Not Use AI For

AI is not used for final creative content. This includes:

  • music
  • voice acting
  • final story or narrative content
  • permanent visual assets meant to represent the finished game

4. Intent

AI is used where it improves development efficiency, but not where it replaces creative ownership. The goal is to build something real—not to hide behind tools.
